The Wizard of Oz

If you have not yet seen this classic, SEE IT! To add to that, watch it on Blu-Ray on a big screen like I do. The Blu-Ray restoration looks phenomenal!

As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of the film and not just because David Lynch likes the film too lol! What do you guys think about the film? A classic? Overrated?

It is just really a fantastic film. I think the last time I saw it it was near Christmas a few years ago. I really need to see the Blu-ray edition and I've never been fortunate to see it on the big screen.

I really need to see this film again. I think I was still a little girl (7 or 8) the last time I saw it. I'm in my 40's now, so I think it's time. Lol!

BTW - I can't wait to see it with 'adult' eyes!

And while you're at it, watch out for possible MD->WoOz connections http://www.mulholland-drive.net/studies ... erence.htm

I found that you can read Baum's 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' online, at the Library of Congress, here:

It differs greatly from the film, and I think one should read the story as well as watch the film. :)

Interesting article on Frank Baum’s occult symbolism in Oz.
