Hi all. Long time lurker here, about time I introduced myself. I first saw MD a couple of years ago and since then it's been one of my favourite films of all time. Also, being my first Lynch film it led me to all his other wonderful work, though still none of them beat MD for me.

Hi there, I came back to browse this site again last week, after first reading it in-depth about 2-3 years ago; seeing the forum, I thought I'd say "hi" this time.

After originally seeing this on video tape in the late 90s, I eventually tracked down a copy around 2006. Then in hmmm, 2010? they ran it at the local independant theater, so I got to see it on the big screen as well, which was fun.

The funniest part of the "Mulholland Drive" screening was that an audience member made an ill-timed trip to the restroom towards the end of the Club Silencio scene, so he was gone when Rita opened the blue box to begin the last 1/3rd of the movie.

When he came back, I heard him whisper, "what did I miss?"... poor fellow; and poor seat-mate, given the task of answering that question.

Just as I say that and check my Youtube account, lo and behold my video is blocked in 99% of the world (and probably for most people who visit your front page). I thought that might happen at some point. I usually dispute the claim and my videos are made available again. This time however YouTube are saying:

"Pay attention: This is really important. There are very few valid reasons for disputing a claim. Please review the information below, because submitting an invalid dispute could result in penalties against your account."

I might have to back off this time

Vimeo to the rescue? Make an account and upload it there? They're much more, ahem, "understanding" about such issues. Vimeo can be embedded just as easily and it's actually a much cleaner interface for the splash page on the site.
