At first only Betty and Irene appear at the arrival gate.

When they get to the exit, Irene's parter suddenly shows up. He is pushing a lot of luggage if they are only for Irene alone.

Does that mean Irene's partner is waiting them at the airport from a trip?
Irene said "It's been so nice travelling with you". Where did they go?
The couple should take her to the appartment on Havenhurst, because they live in LA. But they don't. Does that mean anything?

never noticed Irene's companion with the cart load of luggage before. Cool.

Has anyone ever noticed when Irene and her companion are driving off behind them in a skyway someone is running across the skyway??

I always figured that her companion/husband guy was by the luggage area ahead of them. As for the traveling together bit, I think it's meant the actual flight from Canada to Los Angeles or maybe there were stop-overs in other states involved and Betty got to fly with Irene during those too.
